Introduction of an anti-corruption rating system

The Presidential Decree "On measures to introduce a rating system for evaluating the effectiveness of anti-corruption work" (No. PD-81, January 12, 2022) was adopted.

According to the resolution, a rating system for assessing the efficacy of anti-corruption work will be introduced.

In this case, the rating is based on the following 5 indicators:

Establishment and implementation of anti-corruption mechanisms and legal framework in government agencies;

Implementation of measures to identify, assess and reduce corruption risks;

Presence of anti-corruption behavior by government officials;

Awareness of staff on internal anti-corruption procedures and measures taken to improve their knowledge and skills in this area;

Efficacy of advocacy activities aimed at raising the legal awareness and legal culture of the population in the relevant field or sector of the fight against corruption, the formation of an intolerant attitude to this scourge.

The system will be piloted on February 1, 2022, in 26 government agencies implementing anti-corruption management systems, and from July 1, 2022 in all government agencies.
