«Investor Support Centre» to be established

A government resolution "On Additional Measures to Accelerate Innovation and Investment Activities in the Regions of the Republic" has been passed. According to it, "Investor Support Centre" will be established under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.

The cities of Nukus, Bukhara, Dzhizak and Namangan are planning to build technoparks in phases during 2023-2026 in the form of the Inno Technopark, which was built in Tashkent.

According to the decree, the main objectives of the technoparks are to

Involvement of talented young people, students, researchers, professors and teachers in innovative activities in the technopark;

organising business incubators and experimental sites within the technopark

developing, implementing and financing start-up projects for the initiative youth

conducting training sessions and master classes with the participation of representatives of leading foreign companies and experts.

A centre for advanced projects and engineering will also be set up as part of the Centre for Investment Projects.

An "Investor Support Centre" will be set up under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.

The centre is authorised to deal with issues at all levels based on an innovative approach, providing support to investors and entrepreneurs on a "one-stop-shop" basis.
