Issues of development of power grid and greenhouse activities

On November 3, a meeting was held in the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the leadership of First Deputy Minister Nozim Kholmurodov via videoconference. It was attended by regional hokims and deputy chairmen of commercial banks of the Republic.

It discussed the current needs in working capital for production of greenhouse facilities of the republic, investment projects, implemented in agriculture and food industry for 2022-2024, as well as the process of implementation of the program of creation of new production facilities and diversification of production in the electrical industry for 2022-2024.

As part of the agenda, special attention was paid to the need to intensify joint efforts between commercial banks and local authorities in the regions in order to increase production capacity in the electro-technical industry and ensure the growth of greenhouse production.

At the end of the meeting, the relevant executives were given targeted instructions to implement systematic measures aimed at establishing permanent relations with entrepreneurs in order to implement approved investment projects in a timely manner and promptly resolve all issues arising, as well as provide comprehensive assistance to the initiators.
