It is reported that appropriate measures will be taken for petrol stations that artificially inflate the price of gasoline

Retail prices for gasoline AI-80 rose from 6,800 to 7,100 soums on average in some regions of the country. Antimonopoly Committee said that this increase will affect prices at gasoline stations in 10 days.
The committee said that gasoline prices will be constantly monitored, and in case of revealing the fact of artificial overpricing the subjects will be taken appropriate measures in the prescribed manner.
According to the results of the exchange trade on December 5, the cost of gasoline AI-80 made up 8 million soums per ton on average, which increased by 4% compared to November last year.
Uzbekneftegaz announced that the prices of this gasoline will not be increased and the price per liter will remain at 6,800 soums. The company also noted that the Republic produces more than 4,000 tons of gasoline per day and has enough reserves of this type of fuel for cars.
The Anti-Monopoly Committee is taking appropriate measures to increase the daily volume of gasoline AI-80 and stabilize prices to avoid artificially raising gasoline prices, creating a shortage and a rush in demand. In particular, an additional 1000 tons of gasoline AI-80 has been put up for stock trading since December 5.
The Committee asked not to raise prices unnecessarily due to the increased demand for gasoline due to the temporary closure of gas stations.
