Japanese ambassador finishes his mission in Uzbekistan

Japanese Ambassador his excellency Yoshinori Fujiyama, who is completing his mission in Uzbekistan, was received by Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov.

Japanese Ambassador to Uzbekistan his excellency Yoshinori Fujiyama is completing his diplomatic mission, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

Vladimir Norov noted the ambassador's personal contribution to the strengthening of Uzbek-Japanese relations.

The Japanese diplomat thanked for the assistance and work in the country, noting that Uzbekistan remains a close friend regardless of the position.

It was also noted that the official visit of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Japan in December 2019 opened a new page in the history of bilateral relations.

"There is an active dialogue at a high level, the positive dynamics of exchanges between parliaments, governments, ministries and departments, banking, financial and business circles remain."- notes the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

Recall that Yoshinori Fujiyama was appointed ambassador to Tashkent in the summer of 2019.
