Jurabek Mirzamahmudov visits Huawei headquarters

Uzbekistan's Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamahmudov visited Huawei's headquarters in Shenzhen, China and toured the company's factory producing inverters and batteries for solar power plants.

On February 16, 2023, the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jurabek Mirzamahmudov and his delegation including representatives of the Ministry of Energy, regional administrations, subordinate organizations and industrial enterprises visited Huawei's headquarters in Shenzhen to see the innovative solutions for developing energy sector and share experience and learn best practices in implementing renewable energy projects.

During the visit the delegation was given a tour of the Huawei demonstration centre, and the production facilities of the Huawei Digital Power division producing inverters and batteries for solar power plants for various purposes were presented.

As part of his exposure to the company's global experience in implementing digital projects in the energy sector, the Minister of Energy met with the President of Huawei Global Energy Business Unit Mr. Sun Fuyu to discuss cooperation on enhancing digital and energy technology integration in Uzbekistan; expanding opportunities for ecosystem participants and entrepreneurs to produce, implement and develop "green" energy; developing the civil energy sector and electrifying large cities and towns.
