Kazakhstan declares day of silence before presidential election

Kazakhstan will hold early presidential elections on November 20. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev in his address to the people on September 1 made a proposal to hold an early presidential election.
According to "Tengrinews", on the eve of the extraordinary presidential elections in Kazakhstan, November 19 was declared a day of silence. Any campaign activities carried out on this day are illegal.
Voting on November 20th will last from 07:00 till 20:00 local time. The results of counting of votes by administrative-territorial units are carried out by territorial election commissions and are reported to the Central Election Commission within two days, i.e. by November 22.
