Kazakhstan will continue chairing the Council until 2024

At the end of his speech, our President expressed confidence that modern threats can be effectively overcome only through dialogue, consideration of each other's interests, and observance of generally accepted norms of international law.

"That is why the main goal of the Samarkand initiative we put forward to unite in the name of common security and well-being is aimed at attracting to practical dialogue all healthy forces not indifferent to the future of humanity, striving for peace, harmony and common prosperity.

We support Kazakhstan's intention to continue its chairmanship in the Council until 2024 and wish good luck to our Kazakh friends.

I am confident that through common aspirations, strengthening partnership and trust we will achieve noble goals - ensuring peace, stability and prosperity of our countries," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
