Khorezm: problems find solutions

The republican working group studied the implementation of the instructions of the President and the Government Commission on the development of exports and investments in the Khorezm region.

The heads of central government bodies, khokimiyats and banks left for the place. It was noted that the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan considered the implementation of 336 protocol orders of the head of state, identified during a visit to the region in March this year. Some of them are lagging behind the terms. The working group members were informed about what has already been done, what specific steps are planned to eliminate the problems and who is responsible for them.

They also studied the fulfillment of 111 tasks set following a visit to the region by the government commission to strengthen its production potential and increase employment. The addresses of investors, exporters, other business and industry representatives, who spoke about the difficulties encountered, were discussed.

In addition, the new system of direct dialogue between the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade with the heads of local authorities throughout the republic proves its effectiveness. In this way, 17 appeals were received from the khokims of the districts of the Khorezm region. On all issues, measures were taken to resolve them, indicating the exact dates and executors, the press service of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade reported.

The working group critically analyzed the activities of the heads of a number of ministries, khokimiyats and banks. It was emphasized that they must intensify interaction between departments in order to achieve the unconditional implementation of tasks. Instructions were given to support individual, most promising projects of entrepreneurs. The results will need to be reported within a week.
