Kim Jong-un orders increased production of nuclear weapons

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ordered an increase in the production of nuclear weapons in order to build up his stockpile "exponentially," the North Korean Central News Agency (CNTAG) reported.
The North Korean leader called for a "perfect" readiness to use nuclear weapons "at any time and any place," and said there was a need for a "continuous strengthening of nuclear forces" so that superior power would make "enemies afraid" and protect the DPRK authorities, system and people.
The agency reported that Kim Jong-un led the nuclear weapons acceptance ceremony on March 27 and listened to a report from the DPRK Nuclear Weapons Institute on the progress made in recent years regarding the qualitative and quantitative strengthening of North Korea's nuclear armed forces.
At the same time, Kim Jong-un stressed that the DPRK's nuclear weapons are not directed against other countries, the "enemy" of the country's nuclear forces is war itself and nuclear disaster in general, and the DPRK authorities seek peace and stability in the region.
