Knitwear production enterprise put into operation in Kashkadarya

The ceremony of launching the enterprise for knitwear production was held in Mirishkar district of Kashkadarya region. This investment project worth 24 billion sums is a part of cluster "Mirishkor textile group". At this stage, the enterprise created 300 jobs. In the future, it is planned to expand production and increase the number of jobs to 700.

Garments and knitwear produced at the enterprise are planned to be exported to Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, China and other countries of CIS and non-CIS countries.

The opening ceremony was attended by executives of Kashkadarya province department of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, representatives of local authorities, the media and the general public. It was noted that the implemented project is the result of creation of favorable conditions for entrepreneurship in our country. It was also noted that the region has sufficient resources to increase production, processing of raw materials and expanding the geography of textile exports.
