Korea's Eximbank increases cooperation with Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held video conference with representatives of the Eximbank of Korea to discuss implementation of ongoing projects in healthcare.

Particularly, the implementation of the projects "Creation of research and educational components of innovative scientific-production pharmaceutical cluster "Tashkent Pharma Park", "The construction of the National Cancer Center" and "Multiprofile medical clinic for adults" was considered.

There was an exchange of views on the prospects for cooperation in various sectors of the economy. Representatives of Eximbank, having considered the new list of promising initiatives for 2023-2025, prepared by the Uzbek side, said they were ready for simplification of procedures for the selection and joint implementation of projects.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on systematic negotiations on topical issues of current interaction on a monthly basis and continuation of joint work in all discussed areas of cooperation.
