Kozimjon Kamilov was released from the position of Chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan

Kozimjon Kamilov has been working in this position since 2017.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan made submissions to the Senate of the Oliy Majlis regarding the candidates to replace the 6 judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, whose powers expire on August 24 of this year.

These candidates:

Balkibaeva Janagul Ismailovna;
Gafurov Askarjon Boisovich;
Davletova Karomatjon Khudaybergenovna;
Ismailov Rakhat Aminbayevich;
Rakhimov Abdumannab Kuziyevich;
Rakhmanov Akmal Ergashevich.
If they are elected by the Senate, they will take office on August 24.
In addition, with his presentation, the President proposed the candidacy of Kamilov Kozimjon Fazilovich, who has held the position of Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for the vacant post of Constitutional Court judge.

Also, with his presentation, the head of our state submitted to the Senate the candidacy of Islamov Bakhtiyor Jahangirovich, adviser to the President on issues of coordination of the activities of law enforcement and control bodies, for the position of the chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
