Launch of solar energy projects in Tashkent region

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev speaks at a stone-laying ceremony for the construction of the New Tashkent project.
It is known that today the population living and working in our capital is about 5 million people. This figure is expected to rise again in the coming years.
Today, there is a demand in the city for the construction of more than 20,000 apartment buildings a year, more than 40 schools, kindergartens, and clinics.
Therefore, thinking about the sustainable development of our capital, it is necessary to clearly define plans for at least 15-20 years ahead, the head of state said.
With this in mind, specialists from the UK, Singapore, China and Turkey developed a draft Master Plan for the city of Tashkent until 2045.
In particular, at the expense of the border regions of the Tashkent region, the goal of a phased expansion of the territory of the capital and the implementation of the New Tashkent project in the interfluve of the Chirchik and Karasuv rivers was achieved.
