Local air services to new destinations to be launched in the republic

A Presidential Decree "On Additional Measures for Development of Local Air Travel in the Republic" has been adopted.

According to the law:

from March 2023, regular air services will be opened on new routes such as Samarkand-Nukus, Samarkand-Muynak, Samarkand-Termez, Bukhara-Termez, Namangan-Termez and Namangan-Nukus;

Air links will be re-established with Shakhrisabz Airport
and Sariosiyo airports will be re-established, and air links will be re-established with Zomin airport;

Steps will be taken to establish a unified logistics system by integrating the flight schedule with passenger-friendly rail, bus and minibus routes.

It was decided to extend until January 1, 2026, the period of providing subsidies to resident airlines of Uzbekistan from the national budget in the amount of 25% of the cost of tickets for flights on domestic tourism routes.

Resident airlines of Uzbekistan will be exempt from customs payments for imported into Uzbekistan aircraft maintenance equipment, their equipment, components, spare parts, technical documentation and software until 1 January 2028.
