Manuscripts related to Uzbekistan in the library and archive collection of Al-Azhar University in Egypt are being studied

It was reported that the Agency for Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, in cooperation with foreign research centers, has summarized information on 49,361 manuscripts stored in the library collection of Al-Azhar University.

For reference, Al-Azhar University was founded during the reign of the Fatimids (909-1171) and has a history of thousands of years and is known in the Islamic world as "The Center of Science."

In the course of initial scientific research it was found that this library contains the work of Avicenna "Al qonun fi at-tib", 415 copies of the works of Imam Bukhari, and many manuscripts of our scholars. As a result of continuing research in this regard, new finds related to the history of our country are expected to be discovered.
