Measures are being taken to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to the population

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting on October 24 to ensure the stable functioning of economic sectors and social institutions in the autumn-winter season.

As you know, on September 23 this year, a decision of the Cabinet of Ministers was made about this. At the intersection of each region, district and directions, a separate plan-tables and measures are developed, the sources of which are established. At the meeting, the minister of energy and regional governors reported on the work done in this regard.

As noted, measures are being taken to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to the population, first of all. To do this, it is planned to produce 21 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in the IV quarter, and about 22 billion kilowatt hours at the beginning of next year. Also, in the autumn-winter season, the supply of 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the population is set.

The head of state instructed to fully digitize the system from gas wells to the consumer in order to avoid waste in the process. Liquefied gas and coal are supplied to rural and ovules, social facilities far from the natural gas network. The president stressed that which region needs additional reserves will be provided again.

“All network and territory leaders should double their responsibility in this matter and please the population, without neglecting any appeals, and make a quick solution,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Ministry of energy was instructed to regularly monitor the state of the population's supply of energy resources in real-time order. It was noted that the activities of “call-centers” and regional working groups are important in eliminating the problems that arise.

Particular attention was paid to the issue of economizing energy resources. It was noted that the problems taking place in the energy sector in the world also affect our region, saving is relevant in such a situation. Therefore, it was noted the importance of establishing energy-saving technologies in all institutions, increasing the immunity of people in this regard.
