Meeting of the ministers of energy of SCO member states will be held in Tashkent

Within the framework of the presidency of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Shanhai Cooperation Organization, the second meeting of the ministers of energy of SCO member states will be held in Tashkent on June 24, 2022.

The heads of the ministries of energy of Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, Russia, China, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan discuss the current state and prospects of energy cooperation, which is strategically important for the organization.

At the end of the meeting, the SCO is expected to approve the consul documents in the energy sector. The action plan on the implementation of the conseption of cooperation of SCO member states in the energy sector, as well as the program of cooperation of SCO member states in the field of using renewable energy resources developed on the initiative of Uzbekistan are in the following sentence.

The heads of delegations of SCO member states will also take part in the energy forum of Uzbekistan.
