Meeting with Chinese Ambassador

Today, on 4 January, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Uzbekistan Jiang.

During the conversation with the Chinese Ambassador, prospects of further strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership between our countries in various spheres, including the implementation of agreements reached following the state visit of President of China Xi Jinping to Uzbekistan in September 2022, have been discussed.

Particular attention has been paid to the development of cooperation in trade and economic, investment, transport and communications sectors. Views have been exchanged on practical aspects of mutual cooperation within the UN, SCO and other multilateral institutions.
