Meeting with entrepreneurs and exporters of Surkhandarya region was held

On 20 September this year in Termez a meeting of the management of the Government Commission for Foreign Trade, Investment, Local Industry Development and Technical Regulation with entrepreneurs was organised.

Each of the more than 100 business people invited to the dialogue presented their case, which was examined in detail by the Commission staff. The range of issues mostly consisted of problems related to financial support for initiators of investment projects and exporters from commercial banks, obtaining land plots, vacant buildings and facilities, promotion of domestic products in foreign markets, obtaining various certificates and approvals required for production activities, connection to engineering and communication networks, as well as other relevant issues.

Each problem was studied and analysed with the involvement of the heads of the relevant ministries, agencies and local authorities of the region's districts and cities. Mechanisms were developed to effectively resolve the issues and targeted instructions were given to the relevant managers with concrete deadlines for implementation.
