Member of the Uzbekistan national cycling team receives a State award

Every sports discipline has athletes inspiring people to build and promote a healthy lifestyle. Olga Zabelinskaya is one such personality in cycling in Uzbekistan.
On the eve of the 31st anniversary of independence of Uzbekistan our experienced cyclist Olga Zabelinskaya was awarded the honorary title "Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
For a long time Olga could not receive the award because she studied abroad and took part in a number of international tournaments. And now, on her return from the world championships in Australia, she has received this high state award.
On September 27, Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis, Chairperson of the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva hands over a special badge "Honored Athlete of Uzbekistan" and monetary award to Olga Zabelinskaya for her participation in the Games of Islamic Solidarity, held in Konya, Turkey.
As reported earlier, the national team of Uzbekistan won a total of 11 medals, including three gold, four silver and four bronze. All three gold medals belong to Olga Zabelinskaya, taking first places in the women's group points race in cycling and in the single and group road races.
