Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu congratulates Bakhtiyor Saidov on appointment to new post

Today, on January 6, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. At the outset of the conversation, Turkish Foreign Minister congratulated Bakhtiyor Saidov on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him success.

The foreign ministers reviewed the current state of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its development.

Views were exchanged on organizational aspects of joint events of various levels and formats.

Proposals to further consolidate and expand the Uzbek-Turkish relations both bilaterally and within international institutions have been deliberated during the dialogue.
