Mirziyoyev instructed to keep food inflation strictly within ten percent

Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions today to calculate price fluctuations in the markets and reduction of production in advance, as well as to keep food inflation within 10 percent. This was noted at a video conference call held under the chairmanship of the President.

At the conclusion of the meeting, officials were instructed to:

—Ensure production of 5 million tonnes of additional produce on 200,000 hectares allocated to the population and 50,000 hectares on the margins of the fields;

—By increasing economic instruments, develop co-operation and provide employment on these lands through assistant hokims;

—To create new types of credits, leasing and insurance convenient for farmers and landowners to the amount of 250 mln,

—Ensure the launch of 2,000 projects worth 1.8 trillion soums to increase domestic production of 25 types of imported food
