More than 300 businessmen took part in the business forum

As you know, a delegation consisting of representatives of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and businessmen is visiting our country.

On June 15, as part of the second agenda of the visit, the Uzbek-Pakistani Business Forum was organized.

The forum was moderated by the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Adham Ikramov, who spoke about the importance of this business forum for the development of the economy, transport, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, textile and a number of other industries.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov, Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Abdul Razzak David, President of the Peshawar Frontier Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Zahid Ullah Shinwari, who gave examples of the fact that the two fraternal states have enormous potential for cooperation in many areas.

It should be noted that the main part of the business forum was attended by high-ranking guests, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan. In their speeches, the distinguished guests of the event emphasized that they are satisfied with the results of the two-day forum, show great interest on both sides and that the agreements reached in the future will become a new impetus for the development of countries.
