National program «Safe and Smooth Road»

In 2022-2026, the nationwide program "Safe and smooth road" will be implemented, which involves the improvement of infrastructure with the introduction of digitization.

This was provided for in the decision of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on July 12.

It is envisaged to solve the problems of road infrastructure, introduce digitalization of the traffic management system on roads, improve the system of training and retraining of drivers and control the technical condition of vehicles for four years.

It is also planned to install 30 automated paid parking lots in Tashkent.

At the same time, it is expected to install monitors at 70 stations of urban passenger transport in Karakalpakstan, which will provide passengers with all the necessary information in real time in electronic form.
