NATO will develop a plan to build troops in Europe by June

NATO plans to strengthen its forces and assets in Europe before the summit in June, as well as increase military assistance to Ukraine.

This was stated in a written statement of the White House press service on March 24 following the participation of US President Joe Biden in the meeting of heads of state and government of NATO countries in Brussels.

"We will continue to support him and his government with significant and growing military assistance," the US leader said, referring to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. According to Biden, the North Atlantic Alliance has promised to provide "additional (military) equipment to help Ukraine."

In addition, the bloc intends to develop a "plan of additional forces and tools to strengthen NATO's defense" before the summit in Madrid in June, said the head of the US administration. "We will adopt an updated strategic concept and NATO will be ready to face any challenge in a new and more dangerous security environment," Biden said.
