Negotiations between the Ministry of Energy and Gazprom

On October 27 of this year, negotiations between the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Alisher Sultanov and the Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Alexey Miller were held in St. Petersburg.

Cooperation between the parties is steadily developing within the framework of the "Agreement on the distribution of products at the Jel field" signed by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Gazprom EP International.

During the talks, A. Sultanov and A. Miller also discussed issues of further development of cooperation within the framework of the Strategic Partnership Agreement to be signed between Gazprom and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The interests of Gazprom in Uzbekistan are represented by Gazprom EP International BV, a Gazprom company specializing in the implementation of foreign projects in the field of exploration and development of hydrocarbon fields.
