New projects facilitated by Uzbekistan-Turkey Businessmen Association

The Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Chairman of the Uzbekistan-Turkey Businessmen Association (UTID) Davud Azmi Erbash and representatives of ESS Environmental Ltd Jenk Seran and Matthew Martin on prospects of involving the company in implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan.

Chairman of UTID D.A. Erbas expressed readiness of Turkish business to develop bilateral cooperation and to activate interaction in investment and trade-economic spheres. Also, interest of ESS Environmental Ltd in partnership within implementation of projects in fields of construction, energy and infrastructure development has been noted.

It was noted that the company specializes in such spheres as management of design and construction of specialized civil infrastructure, residential and multifunctional projects, commercial and industrial facilities, hospitals, water and sewage systems, energy infrastructure. The company has been in business for over 37 years and has completed installations in 38 countries to date. The total current contract potential of the company exceeds 22 billion dollars and its reserve project portfolio is 1.2 billion dollars.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to cooperate in the discussed areas of cooperation and agreed to arrange a visit of the company's management to Uzbekistan to discuss further projects with the relevant ministries and agencies by the end of this year.
