New projects for the improvement of the city presented at Tashkent governance

An expanded meeting was held in the Tashkent governance with the participation of the governor of Tashkent, deputy governors, heads of departments and departments, as well as district governors. The prospects for the development of Tashkent in 2021-2023 were discussed at the meeting.
As you know, massive work is underway in Tashkent to improve, create conditions for walking and recreation of the population, repair the facades of apartment buildings, playgrounds and build new ones. According to the city khokim, by the end of 2021, work will be completed in more than 500 makhallas of the capital.
He stressed that enough funds have been allocated from the state budget for this work. Regional officials should use this money purposefully and efficiently, and the quality of work should be high. "The budget should not be wasted, it would be a betrayal of the president and the state."
Speaking about the work to be done in 2022, Jakhongir Ortikkhodjaev said that next year he will pay more attention to social facilities, fill all medical institutions, and modernize infrastructure. He also added that this work is being carried out at public education facilities and in preschool educational institutions.
The governor stressed that the city administration has big plans for 2023. The topic of annual repair of roads, sidewalks, central and internal streets, which is planned to be carried out on a large scale, was touched upon. Based on the forecasts, the overhaul of central streets, the construction of road junctions and bridges, the improvement of the city transport system will reach a new level.
