New stage of development in Yangihayot
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the “Tashkent Index” trade and service complex in Yangihayot district.
The area of the complex covers 72 hectares. Shops, logistics and export centers, a hotel and a kitchen are being introduced here for about 1.3 trillion UZS, where 13,000 new jobs are expected to be created. The first phase of the project will be launched this year on the eve of Navruz.
There was a meeting on socio-economic development of Yangihayot and Sergeli districts.
Within 2022, it is planned to implement 26 projects worth 3.8 trillion UZS in Yangihayot district and create 26,000 new jobs.
The project “New City” will build 5 million square meters of housing and many social facilities, as a result of which 430,000 people will be provided with housing. Old wooden houses in the Yuldosh district will be demolished and a program will be launched to relocate their owners to cutting-edge housing.
Three kindergartens and two additional schools will be erected in densely populated areas. In compliance with public opinion, 3.2 billion UZS will be allocated to solve the problems of the population.
In Sergeli district, 79 investment projects worth 6.4 trillion UZS are intended to be implemented, where 31,000 permanent jobs will be launched. In particular, The enterprise “Alyutex” will produce aluminum profiles, and “Rezalit Stroy Group” will produce electric car parts.
Furthermore, 2 schools, 2 kindergartens and a family polyclinic will be introduced. Construction of the “New Uzbekistan Massif” will commence in the Alisher Navoi area.
