On August 25, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Poland held a telephone conversation

According to the press service of the head of our state, the leaders discussed topical issues of developing political dialogue, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, promoting cultural and humanitarian exchange programs, as well as continuing effective cooperation within international organizations.

The Heads of State also discussed the current situation in the region in the context of the development of the situation in Afghanistan.

Andrzej Duda expressed gratitude for the comprehensive assistance in carrying out the evacuation of Polish citizens from Afghanistan in transit through the territory of Uzbekistan.
