One of the streets in the capital is named after Mustafa Kemal Ataturk

One of Tashkent's streets is expected to be named after Turkey's first president, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
On March 1, Tashkent Mayor Jahongir Ortikhojayev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar, the press service of the mayor's office reported.
According to the report, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to visit Uzbekistan as part of the Second Strategic Partnership Summit to be held in late March.
The parties also discussed the allocation of land for the expansion of the Turkish school, the naming of one of the streets in Tashkent after the first President of Turkey Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and the construction of Turkish companies in Tashkent.
PS: Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Street in Tashkent has existed before. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Street in Mirabad and Yunusabad districts was renamed Zarafshan in 2011.
