Opening of Caterpillar Training Center at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent

Zeppelin Central Asia Machinery LLC, the official dealer of Caterpillar machinery in Uzbekistan and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent signed Memorandum of Understanding on mutually beneficial cooperation on December 12, 2022.

The Memorandum aims to strengthen long-term mutually beneficial partnership between the parties in the field of education and research and open a Caterpillar training center at the university. At this training center students and employees of the companies will be trained in operating construction and road-building equipment on a grader simulator of one of the world's largest manufacturers.

On the basis of the training center it is planned to hold scientific and methodical seminars, guest lectures and other events with participation of Caterpillar and Zeppelin representatives.

The opening ceremony was attended by Zeppelin Central Asia Machinery LLC management, Turin Polytechnic University administration in Tashkent, as well as representatives of the US Embassy, Almazar district khokimiyat and German trade company AHK.

Doctor of Science and Rector of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent Jamshid Inoyakhodjaev commented: "Caterpillar is the world's leading manufacturer of mining and construction equipment and has been represented in Uzbekistan by its largest global dealer Zeppelin Uzbekistan for over twenty years. The value of this training center is that it will contribute to the development of practical skills and first-hand knowledge of students - from highly qualified and recognized experts in their industry and on professional equipment".

Zeppelin Uzbekistan has also developed a plan for further cooperation for 2023 together with the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.
