Out of 1.1 trillion soums of subsidies allocated from the budget, 220 billion soums were used

During today's video selector, the head of our state noted that there are many issues in the housing construction and mortgage system that have not yet been resolved.

Among them:
• the number of housing under construction in the mortgage market is much less than in demand. In particular, in the Honkinsky district, despite the demand for 5 thousand new housing units, next year it is planned to build only 464 houses (9% of the demand);

• to date, 950 completed apartments worth 255 billion soums remain without sale due to unfavorable location or price;

• Of the 1.1 trillion soums of subsidies allocated from the budget, only 220 billion soums were used. More than 900 billion soums of subsidies are not paid to families with more than 36 thousand positive conclusions in the Republic;

• builders do not release to the market a sufficient supply of middle-class houses that are in high demand among the population;

• despite the approval of the list of residential areas, due to the untimely placement of land plots for auction, construction of houses for 2.7 thousand apartments has not begun in the Tashkent region, in Karakalpakstan, Kashkadarya and Khorezm - for 1.5 thousand apartments;

• regional governors and their deputies for construction are limited to 2-3 organizations when choosing a contractor for housing construction.

“Everyone saw the negative consequences of this on the example of Jizzakh,” the president stressed.
