Over four years of the event, investment agreements worth more than $500 million have been concluded

At the opening of InnoWeek.uz-2022, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investments and Foreign Economic Relations - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjaev delivered a speech.
"In today's realities, environmental threats are common, our task is to use natural resources rationally and comprehensively respond to climate change. I believe that "green innovations" will undoubtedly help in solving the problems we are facing. Uzbekistan is considered one of the leaders in introducing such practices. We continue to work to improve results in this direction.
As our President has said, innovation is the future. We have an obligation to build a great future on the basis of innovative ideas. The transition to innovative development and the digital economy is inevitable. A document on innovative development in Uzbekistan and the transition to a digital economy has been adopted.
Today, as part of the Innovation Week, innovative projects will be presented, demonstrating the results of work on the introduction of high technology, scientific potential and innovative ideas. In four years of the event more than 50 thousand participants, 723 organisations and 316 guests from 108 countries have taken part. Negotiations with foreign colleagues have resulted in investment agreements worth over 500 million dollars". - said Jamshid Khodjaev
