«O'zavtoyo'lbelgi» robbed the state budget of 2.7 billion UZS

UzA reports that law enforcement bodies revealed unlawful situation in the activities of the State Unitary Enterprise "Uzavtoyulbelgi" of the Committee for Roads.

Under the decision "On measures to further improve the road safety system" "Uzavtoyulbelgi" has the right to purchase products on the best offer from local and foreign organizations as an exception, it is allowed to conclude contracts without tenders.

However, during 2021-2022 SUE's officials signed 21 contracts worth 9 billion 193 million UZS with 5 local companies known to them, purchased from them the products for production and painting of road signs at prices higher than those of free market and plundered the budget of 2 billion 701 million UZS.

In connection with this situation a criminal case has been opened against officials of the SUE "Uzavtoyulbelgi" and five LLCs.
