Memorandum on cooperation between Uzbekistan UWED and Ibn Khaldun University in Turkiye signed

Today, November 10, a delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Khaldun University Nejmeddin Bilal Erdogan visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
During the meeting Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan Abdukadir Tashkulov introduced the delegation of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy to the Turkish guests and congratulated them on their visit to Uzbekistan.
First vice-rector for academic work Durbek Amanov made a welcoming speech and warm wishes from Rector Sadik Safoev to the delegation of Ibn Khaldun University.
Rector of Ibn Khaldun University Atilla Arkan, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the university Irfan Gunduz and deputy chairman of the Board of Trustees Nejmeddin Bilal Erdogan thanked the Uzbek side, as well as the University of World Economy and Diplomacy for the warm welcome during the meeting.
It was said that inter-university student relations will be raised to a new level. Educational exchange programs for students and faculty were stressed, and a one-week summer camp between Ibn Khaldun University and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy was proposed.
At the end of the meeting a memorandum of understanding was signed between the parties.
P.S. Ibn Khaldun University was founded in 2017 on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Turkiye. The university currently has 1,800 students. Among them are foreign students from 81 countries.
