The company manages Singapore's port infrastructure, which is the world's largest in terms of container cargo turnover. In this context, the two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in the development of logistics infrastructure, details of the agreement on the creation of dry ports in Uzbekistan under elaboration.

On the same day, the sides got acquainted with the activities of Land Transport Authority - Corporate Headquarters.

The sides continued their dialogue with the director general of Singapore Business Federation Suh Wei Chey. The sides discussed in detail the progress in preparation for the Uzbekistan-Singapore Business Forum on January 16 this year, which is expected to be attended by over 150 representatives of leading business circles of Singapore in food and chemical industry, information technology, energy, electrical and electronics, healthcare, education and other fields.

At the same time, the sides considered details of the forthcoming cooperation programme envisaging the organization of events to be attended by major companies from Uzbekistan and Singapore, including mutual business missions and online workshops in the most relevant areas of partnership.

Later, the sides held a meeting with Mr. Kuok Hun Hong, General Director of Wilmar Trading, one of the largest companies in the world in processing agricultural products, which owns 500 production facilities in 50 countries around the world. During the meeting, the parties agreed on the implementation of joint projects in the field of processing agricultural products and food production.

With founder of Universal Success Enterprises Prason Mukherjee the sides discussed construction of a modern 5-star hotel in Uzbekistan. A relevant agreement is under preparation to be signed.

In the course of the dialogue with Changi Airports International CEO Yuzhin Gan, issues of cooperation on development of aviation sector of Uzbekistan were discussed.

MSA director general Sim Wee Mengom in the dialogue with the ministry's leadership talked about the work being done together with Uzbek partners to prepare the Tashkent Metro infrastructure development project.
