President familiarizes with new industrial zone in Namangan

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits small industrial and business zone "Barkamol Avlod" in Namangan.

Technoparks and small industrial zones are established in our country to support entrepreneurship. In Namangan region, the number of such complexes has reached 73.

There are many entrepreneurs and craftsmen in Barkamol avlod mahalla. But they had to work at home, which limited the realisation of their potential.

Therefore, an industrial complex with necessary infrastructure was set up next to the mahalla on an area of 10 hectares. Forty-six projects are being implemented here. Work has been completed at 18 enterprises, they have already launched operations, more than 2 thousand jobs have been created.

The President familiarized himself with the manufacturing process at the enterprises "Master Class Design", "Sifat Yogoch Sanoat", "Balance Teks".

The first enterprise manufactures 150 thousand leather footwear pieces a year. The "Sifat Yogoç Sanoat" is capable of making 1.2 thousand sets of furniture and "Balance Tex" 400 thousand textile products. They employ and earn young people and women from neighbouring mahallas who were previously unemployed. Due to the quality and affordability, the products replace imported analogues.

The President familiarized himself with an exhibition of industrial goods produced in Namangan. Orders were given to develop bee keeping, jewelry making, fruit and vegetable growing along with advanced industries.
