President Ilham Aliyev received Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov

On May 24, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov.

Aziz Abdukhakimov conveyed congratulations from the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Ilham Aliyev.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked for the congratulations and asked to convey respect to the head of the Uzbek state.

During the meeting, it was noted that friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are successfully developing in various fields - political, economic, transport and others, the importance of mutual visits was emphasized.

And also, the exceptional importance of the choice of Shamakhi by the organization of the Turkic states as the tourist capital of the Turkic world and the holding of the VII meeting of the ministers of tourism of the member countries of the organization was emphasized.

Aziz Abdukhakimov noted that there is fruitful cooperation in the field of tourism between the relevant structures of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, and expressed satisfaction with participation in the event in Shamakhi.
