President meets with chairman of the board of directors of ACWA Power

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Muhammad Abdullah Abunayan, chairman of ACWA Power on November 16 within the first session of Foreign Investors Council.

The sides considered issues of implementation of current projects and prospects of further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The head of our state highly appreciated the company's contribution in promotion of projects on modernization of energy infrastructure and creation of renewable energy objects in different regions of our country.

The importance of attracting the company's investments for development of hydrogen energy, construction of wind power stations, and training of highly qualified national personnel with participation of foreign experts was emphasized.

Muhammad Abdullah Abunayan has confirmed the company's willingness to develop long-term and full-scale cooperation with Uzbekistan and to take an active part in holding the next Uzbek-Saudi Business Council meeting in the first quarter of next year in Tashkent.
