President of Kazakhstan plants tree in Alley of Honoured Guests

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in our country on a state visit, planted a tree in the Alley of Honorary Guests at Kuksaroy residence in the presence of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The ceremony has come to symbolize the dawn of a new era in Uzbek-Kazakh relations, the firm intention of the two heads of state to reinforce the strategic partnership and alliance between our two nations for the good of our two brotherly peoples.

The main events of the state visit of Kazakhstan's leader to our country will be held tomorrow, December 22.

Top-level talks will be held, leading to the signing of historically important agreements. A joint launch of major investment projects and a media briefing are also planned.
