President of Uzbekistan meets with Chairman of the Board of Cengiz Enerji Company

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Mehmet Сengiz Chairman of the Board of Cengiz Enerji on November 16 within the first session of Foreign Investors Council.

The head of our state appraised highly the activities of the Turkish company, with which major projects are underway to expand energy capacities in Tashkent and Syrdarya regions.

The parties stressed the importance of implementing the launched projects as soon as possible and further expand mutually beneficial cooperation in promising directions, including modernization of energy facilities and transport infrastructure development.

Mehmet Cengiz expressed gratitude to President of Uzbekistan for a warm welcome and the conditions created for the effective work of foreign investors. He expressed readiness to further participate in the implementation of important infrastructure projects in our country.
