President of Uzbekistan receives Head of Calik Holding Company

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Ahmet Chalik, Chairman of Calik Holding Company, on November 16 at Kuksaroy residence.

The sides discussed issues of deepening practical interaction and implementing mutually beneficial joint projects.

The leader of our country noted with delight the contemporary level of partnership between leading enterprises of Uzbekistan and Turkey, as well as the presence of considerable potential for further deepening of cooperation in priority sectors of economy.

The head of Calik Holding, having thanked for the warm reception, expressed a firm commitment to long-term and full-scale partnership.

Views were exchanged on the perspectives of the implementation together with the Turkish holding of the cooperation projects in the sphere of healthcare, chemical and mining industries.

At the end of the meeting an agreement was reached on the development and adoption of a new investment cooperation program.
