President Shavkat Mirziyoev: «Now it's time for transport minister Makhkamov to wake up»

The Ministry of Transport was instructed to inform the aviation authorities of all countries that all restrictions on flights and routes of foreign airlines at the Samarkand airport have been removed.

Also to the Ministry of Transport:

reach an agreement with foreign airlines and launch at least 10 international flights a day to Samarkand from Europe, Asia, America, Arab countries and neighboring countries;
it was ordered to launch at least 1 daily flight from Vody, Nukus, Urganch and Termiz.
The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to approve the annual program of international meetings and conferences in Samarkand within a month.

In general, it was pointed out that within five days, it is necessary to develop a separate draft decision on the use of new complexes in Samarkand, as well as the provision of additional benefits and concessions for this purpose.
