President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departs for Kazakhstan

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Astana on 12 October on the invitation of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

As part of his official visit, the President is expected to attend regular meetings of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia and the Council of the Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States. On the margins of these summits, he is scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with the heads of delegations of the partner countries.
