Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia discuss topical issues of bilateral agenda

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on February 16.
The leaders of the two countries discussed current issues of multifaceted cooperation and the strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia.
The heads of states paid particular attention to the issues of boosting mutual trade, expanding industrial cooperation among leading enterprises, implementing investment projects in priority sectors under a joint project office.
In this context, the importance of the international exhibition Innoprom. Central Asia exhibition and the Uzbek-Russian Forum of Regions.
The two leaders have also exchanged views on intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and reviewed the schedule of upcoming events.
