Procedure for organizing winter holidays in educational institutions has been established

The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution "On organization of winter holidays for students and pupils of higher, secondary special and professional education institutions". In accordance with the decree, between the last 10 days of December and the first 10 days of January, the annual two week winter holidays of students (pupils) of secondary specialised, vocational and higher educational institutions are held.

10 days before the winter holidays, it is recommended to sell tickets for trains within the republic (except high-speed trains and all passenger trains SV, VIP) and for local flights at a 50 per cent discount of the economy class ticket price.

From 2022, a mechanism will be introduced during the winter holidays to provide a package of urgent benefits (discounted tickets, promotions) for schoolchildren and students to travel on intercity scheduled buses.
