Prospects for the VI Meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation

As you know, a delegation of the government and business circles of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has visited our country.
On the first day of the visit, the VI meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was held.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A number of issues related to the aforementioned spheres between the two states were discussed there.
Of course, it is worth noting the special role of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan in this event.
Opening the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov noted that, first of all, Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Abdul Razzak Davud is glad to personally participate in this event, and that such summit meetings will be useful to both sides in the future.
In particular, it was noted that in recent years, Uzbek-Pakistani relations have reached a new level, reached in September last year at a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Islamabad, the agreements are yielding results.
