Prospects of the electrical engineering industry

Under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjaev, a meeting dedicated to the analysis of the current state of the electrical engineering industry and the main tasks to be implemented in the field in the near future was held in the building of the "Uzeltexsanoat" association.
In particular, the comprehensive measures implemented within the framework of the growth trends observed in the industry in the last five years and the implementation of the tasks set by the head of state at the meeting on the development of the electrical engineering industry held on May 6 of this year - the results of the events were recorded.
In particular, a new "Copper cluster" is being established in the Okhangaron district of the Tashkent region in order to increase the volume of copper production. Additional opportunities for processing 128,000 tons of copper will be created within the framework of 7 new projects worth 834 million dollars.
In addition, in order to expand the production of renewable energy sources in our country, it was noted that the "Cluster of alternative energy sources" project is being implemented in the SEZ "Chirakchi" of Kashkadarya region. 7 projects with a total capacity of 500 MW are being implemented here and 500 new jobs are being created at the same time.
Within the framework of the meeting, the project of the ultra-thin copper foil production complex planned to be established in cooperation with the South Korean company SK NEXILIS, as well as the test laboratory complex organized by the Uzeltexsanoat association, was presented.
